Parties and rental property
This agreement is between Temporary Totes and the customer listed on the order confirmation. Temporary Totes rents the moving totes, dollies, labels, hand trucks, and related items shown on that order.
Rental term
The standard rental term is 7 calendar days beginning on the delivery date. Extensions are subject to inventory availability and additional charges.
Rental charges and taxes
Customer agrees to pay the published rental fee, delivery-zone fee if applicable, optional add-ons, and applicable taxes. Idaho sales tax is added where required by law.
Authorization hold and card on file
Customer authorizes Temporary Totes, through its connected payment processor, to place a temporary hold on the payment method provided at booking and to charge unpaid rental fees, approved extensions, late fees, cleaning fees, and documented loss or damage charges. Temporary Totes should store only processor tokens and limited card metadata, not raw card numbers or CVV codes.
Use restrictions
Rental items may be used only for ordinary household or office moving and temporary packing. Customers may not overload, drag, alter, permanently mark, expose to open flame, store hazardous materials, or leave items in conditions likely to cause theft, loss, or weather damage. Firearms and ammunition are permitted if transported unloaded and secured. Totes are not leak-proof; liquids and any items packed with them are transported at the customer's own risk.
Access and safety
Customer is responsible for safe and lawful delivery and pickup access, including parking instructions, gate codes, stairs or elevator information, pet control, and building or HOA restrictions.
Return condition
Rental items must be returned in substantially the same condition received, ordinary wear excepted. Remove trash, tape residue, food, sharps, chemicals, pests, and personal property before pickup.
Late returns
If items are kept beyond the agreed term without a confirmed extension, Temporary Totes may charge late fees, extension pricing, and, after reasonable notice, replacement charges for unreturned items.
Limitation of liability
Temporary Totes is not responsible for customer packing choices, shifting contents, customer-caused breakage, weather exposure, theft, or access issues outside its control. This page is a starting point and should be reviewed by counsel before use.
